Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope you have had some time to rest and relax this summer. At St. Mary’s School we have been making preparations for the reopening of school this fall. As we work toward welcoming students and staff back to the school building in September, a lot of questions remain about what school will look like and when we will “return to normal.” While some of those questions cannot be answered until further guidance is released by state and local government and health officials, we have been working hard to develop a plan for the safe return of students, families, and staff based on the current guidance.
Our priority continues to be offering in-person learning for all students this fall. In order to do this, we will have significant health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of our students, staff, and community. Naturally this means school will look different this year, and we appreciate your patience and support through these many changes.
Attached for your review is the initial draft of our reopening plan. I would like to thank the members of our reopening team for the time, perspective, and expertise they have contributed to the development of this plan. After you have had the opportunity to review the initial plan, if you have specific questions, please submit them through the google form linked below.
Thank you and we look forward to the return of our students in September!
