Welcome to 5th grade!
I am very excited to be here with you at St. Mary’s! Fifth grade is an exciting year. We will be working on becoming independent and hard-working students, while working and learning together. I look forward to making this a positive year for you all!
We will work on making our classroom a fun and engaging environment for all by working together and becoming a community of learners. We will have a variety of projects; independent and group work. In English Language Arts we will be working with the John Collins Writing program to help us enhance our creativity and enjoyment with writing. We will be learning Social Studies in a democratic classroom with debates and role play. In Religion, our main focus will be on the seven sacraments.
