Welcome to KA!
Kindergarten is an exciting year. Through guided discovery and the use of imagination and creativity, the children begin to develop a strong foundation for learning. The curriculum is designed to promote growth in all areas of development. Academics focus on reading, writing, phonics, mathematics, social studies, science, and religion. Differentiated instruction and learning centers are planned to meet the needs and learning styles of each individual child.
My role as teacher is to provide a support system for the children and to create an environment that allows the students to believe and challenge themselves in every way possible. My goal for this year is to allow the children to become independent and responsible and to discover that learning is fun.
Throughout the year the KA team will develop friendships, treat others kindly and with respect, celebrate God’s love, and explore and discover new adventures.
